Why am I doing this you might ask?  Allow me to explain...

I have always enjoyed playing poker recreationally (...just for FUN).  From a young age we would have family poker tournaments where my Dad taught us kids the rules and how to play (...I'm sure many of you learned in a similar fashion).  I continued playing growing up with friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  One day back in 2006 I decided to play in a satellite event online with a chance to win an entry into the $10,000 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.  As luck would have it, I won and ended up going to Las Vegas to play with the pros!  Up to this point in my poker "career" I don't think I had ever played in a live tournament costing more than ~$200 and now I was heading to Vegas for the $10,000 Main Event!  Crazy. I had a great time in Vegas even though I only made it through about half the field.  Not bad for a total rookie...  I enjoyed it so much, that I have been going back every year since to play in $1000-$2500 WSOP events managing to cash several times along the way.  I have been willing to put up $1000-$2500 to play in some of the less expensive WSOP events but never eager/willing to put up the $10,000 to play in another Main Event.

I have been itching though to play in another $10,000 Main Event and finally came up with this simple idea....  Find someone (like YOU) who needs real estate assistance and who is also a poker enthusiast.  I will provide you with exceptional service buying or selling your home.  Once we close your deal we'll head to Vegas for the $10,000 Main Event and I'll buy tickets (entries) for you and me.  While I'm not willing to spend $10,000 "out of my own pocket" to buy myself an entry into the Main Event, if I am able to create a client (YOU!) out of thin air with the specific purpose of using the commission proceeds to buy myself into the Main Event and bring you along too, that's something I'm willing to do (...it's easier for me to justify to myself...and I think I can even write it off on my taxes lol!).  If you are thinking about buying or selling a home anywhere in the Bay Area let's talk.  You will be pleasantly surprised by the level of expertise I will bring to help you exceed your real estate goals and then to celebrate our success together we'll head to Vegas to have fun in the $10,000 Main Event!  If you are planning on buying or selling a home right now, and you are a poker enthusiast, there really is no downside to this offer...

The only minor restriction/condition would be that the home I am helping you to buy or sell is at a price which is high enough to provide me with the commission proceeds to bring you and I to Vegas for the Main Event.  Just about any home in the Bay Area will be expensive enough to satisfy this criteria so I don't expect this to be an issue.
